Just a few terms to know when caring for toddlers...
(namely, my own)
"Quiet Time"

Quiet Time consists of putting babies in their cribs when mom and or babies need a little break. This isn't always necessary but usually replaces what used to be a nap time. It can result in the babies playing, giggling, taking off their diapers, and sometimes a nap.
"Bloomies"

Bloomies are essential for any little girl who is able to take off her diaper. Better known as bloomers or panties they go underneath dresses and can be worn any time when pants are not available. Bloomies are the protector against poop.
"Cork"
Cork is a verb meaning to stick a toddlers pacifier back into their mouth. This might happen late at night or during church.
"Peter Pan Socks"

Peter Pan Socks are socks that are being worn and have been pulled at the ends leaving a flop of sock. They are common in toddlers and husbands but can be easily remedied by pulling the sock back up.
"Code Brown Trout"
Code Brown Trout is when a toddler poops in the bathtub, and it requires an immediate evacuation. Bloomies are no help in this situation.
"Chicken Wing Dance"

A Chicken Wing Dance is a little jig where a toddlers arms are curled up into the shape of chicken wings and they dance wildly. It is common after the consumption of sweets.
"The Cindy-Lou Do"

The Cindy Lou Do is a hairstyle which consists of one large fountain of hair at the top of the head. It is quick and simple, and serves to keep hair out of the toddlers face. A bow or ribbon on top is completely optional.

Happy New Year!
Hey we want to babysit too. Don't leave us out. Our church just went to 2pm though!!! Yuck I hate it already. The day is over once you get home. Well let us know whenever the twins want to come visit. As long as there are no code browns or brown trout we will watch them for free. Oh yesterday I found my mission movies and the DVD case Kevin gave me years ago. Tell Kevin to warm up the computer, because they are coming his way.
I will babysit anytime! I love reading your blogs - they put me in such a good mood
Missy your a hoot!!! What perfect maning terminolagy.( did i spell that right) Is this what I have too look forward to? I am excited!!!
Loud verbal laughter was heard in our home at the reading of the "Brown Trout". We have not had one of those for many a year, but remember it, not fondly, though. I only have Hayden take showers becuse of the expelling behavior from the warth of tubs.
Seriously, I keep offering to babysit and if you know how often people drop their kids off at our home, you would not be shy about dropping the girls over the fence and running away for a few hours!
Love this! It's like my entire life! Sorry we live so far away or we could swap kids! But if you're ever headed out here drop them off. They are always welcome. Speaking of, you and the girls should come play sometime. Sophie would LOVE IT!! And we have three baby dolls now after Christmas so NO fighting! (Ha! There is always something to fight about when you're 1)
oh you know i would if i could!
and how did you get that to say "insert warm fuzzy below"???
i am glad you gave those definitions, i seriously couldnt even guess what most of them were! :)
That was the cutest post! you are so creative!
