Family Photos

A few weeks ago we had some family pictures taken at the Temple and a photo studio. Our photographer, Jo did such an AWESOME job and we are so happy with the how the pictures turned out. I have SO many I want to share but I narrowed it down to these. Enjoy:)

The results are in!

Finally, the answer to the question that has been on everyone's mind (right?).....Well I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised because after 21 votes, 80% of you got it right when you said the lady was Brenna. That meant that 20% of you thought it was Brooke. So I guess I won't have to keep telling everyone who is who, because you seem to have it down pretty well. Either that or you took your best guess or looked at the other pictures. Now for those of you who are still completely lost here are some clues to help you tell who is who.

1. Brooke has always weighed about a pound more, she is the bigger of the two (no offense!)
2. Brooke (in my opinion) resembles Kevin the most and if you can think "K" is for Kevin and the name Brooke has a "K" in it. That's how Grandpa J. remembers....seems to work for him
3. Brenna has a freckle on her right knee.
4. Brenna has a rounder face while Brooke's is oval shaped if that makes sense.
5. Brooke is always in the plaid carseat and Brenna is always in the animal print carseat.

If you are still totally clueless just take your best guess, you have a 50% chance of being right and I promise not to be offended unless they are 12 yrs. old and you are still struggling:)

Kevin's Graduation

Kevin had his graduation ceremony on Friday May 9th. I had never been to an ASU graduation and boy it was huge! We were so happy to see him walk with his other classmen and to be able to celebrate the occasion. Thanks to all of our family and friends who helped and supported us so we could get here! And way to go Kevin, we are so proud of you!

Post Grad Info: Kevin is now working full time at Papa John's as the General Manager. He is interested in possibly doing more school and getting a Masters in Psychology. For now we welcome the break from school and are excited to see what the future will hold for our family.

Who's that lady?

I have decided to do an experiment, and the experiment is on you. Yes.... you! The picture directly above is of one of my daughters, but which one is it? Is that sleepy eyed smiler Brooke or Brenna? You tell me. After frequenting my blog, which I'm sure you do (right?) are you able to tell who is who? Now don't be looking at the other pictures for clues, let's do this fair and square. Brooke and Brenna turned 8 months old on Cinco De Mayo. Here they are in their very festive dresses. Vamos A Bailar!

Fantastico!

Here are a few new things going on with the girlies.

1. Both Brenna and Brooke have their two bottom teeth.

2. Brooke is so close to crawling it's scary! She can crawl backwards though, or as many people call it doing "the worm."

3. Brooke learned how to clap her hands thanks to Sophie Robinson and Brenna has almost mastered the art herself.

4. Their new favorite snack is animal crackers, mine too.

5. They are both growing cuter and cuter every day!

Brenna, however, seems to be a U of A fan. Fancy that!

Fan or no fan, Kevin is officially done with ASU as of last Thursday. He's graduating with a bachelors in psychology and will walk with his other classmen May 9th. I am so proud of Kevin for making a college education a priority in his life and for reaching this goal. You're awesome babe and I love ya!

Lately, Brenna and Brooke's new thing is to kick a leg up and hold it in the air for long periods of time. They do it in their car seats, in the swing, and in their cribs while they are asleep. We aren't sure why, but we figure why not?
