Easter Sunday

My MIL Shirley and I went shopping and found these adorable dresses for the girls to wear on Easter Sunday. The dresses were cute on the hanger but were even cuter on these sweet girls.

I couldn't resist taking a few last bunny picts. Naturally I included carrots, which the girls enjoyed playing with. Why is it that babies tend to smile more when they are half-naked?

I'd take a sinkful of babies over a sinkful of dishes any day! Brenna and Brooke loved taking a bath in the kitchen sink. Now that they can sit up on their own they were able to play with toys and splash in the water. Lots of fun!

I did the unthinkable...

Grocery shopping with twins has been something that I have been avoiding like the plague for the last 6 months. People have asked me how I go grocery shopping with twins and I respond "I don't." I am such a worry wort and the thought of being alone with two babies and a cart full of perishable groceries makes me want to cringe. Well, we were in desperate need of some groceries so I had to do the unthinkable. I'm happy to say that everything went just fine. The girls were very well behaved and seemed to enjoy the ride around Walmart. The only downfall was stepping into a large wad of warm gum on my way into the store. YUCK!

Why I'm not a fan of prunes.....

The girls love to eat prunes, it's one of their favorite fruits. But as you can see, it's my least favorite because no matter how hard I try the girls and their outfits end up covered in a sticky, gooey mess. At least they're happy:)

The need for a bath that day became very apparent. Notice the ingenious placement of the bath accessories. I was amazed that they stayed there long enough to take a picture:)

Here is Brenna enjoying a new toy that Kevin's boss gave us.

Another "toy" that Kevin's boss gave us is this baby jogging stroller. I've been taking the girls on walks now that the weather is so nice. Notice that I said walks, not jogs, I'm not quite there yet! They seem to enjoy it though, and it's a good excuse for me to get out of the house and get some exercise.

Happy 6 month Birthday!

Brenna and Brooke turned 6 months old yesterday! I can't believe they are halfway to a year old already. They are rolling around and sitting up on their own now. They are getting to be such big girls:)
