10x10=100

Can you believe this is my 100th post?
WAHOO!

(kevin's depiction of me excited... no I am not that flexible.)

I took this idea from my friend Holly's blog. Thanks Holly:)

Ten Things I Hear a Lot

1. Are they TWEEEEEEEEEENS? (OK I'm exaggerating a bit, but I hear it SO much!)
2. Were you and your husband expecting to have twins/Do twins run in your family/Did you have help (medically)?
3. How do you do it?
4. Are they identical?
5. Do they have twin names?
6. They must keep you really busy....
7. I thought I wanted twins, but I'm glad that I don't.
8. Uh-oh, double trouble!
9. How do you tell them apart?
10. You must not get any sleep!

Ten Weird Things I Have Done

1. Tried to be a vegetarian for a week and gained 2 pounds from eating so many carbs....sorry Nie, I tried.
2.Gave myself a middle name in elementary school because I don't have one. I made sure to include it in my signature and upgrade it to whatever sounded good at the time.
3. Poked my eye with a pencil in the 6th grade.
4. I used to suck the water out of my hair when I was in the bathtub when I was like 5, or yesterday... j/k.
5. Built a cardboard club house in my friends backyard called the Bum Hut.
6. While spending the night at my friend's house we got up late at night and tee peed her own house with a bunch of toilet paper rolls instead of toilet paper.
7. Played the Pocahontas soundtrack every night as I was going to sleep when I was 10 or something, I know all the songs by heart, seriously.....
8. E-mailed Henry Cavell to tell him what a hottie I thought he was....he didn't respond.
9. My sister and I rubbed Icy Hot all over our bodies when we were little because it was hot in our house and we couldn't sleep. Apparently we only read the Icy part.
10. Had a major crush on David Bowie from The Labyrinth...it's complicated.

Ten Songs I thought I'd Never Get Out of My Head

1. Goodbye My Lover, James Blunt (thanks to the 3rd season of The Office)
2. Oom bop, Hansen
3. Carpenter song from the movie 1408
4. Crazy, Gnarles Barkley
5. Hey Yah, Outkast
6.Chasing Pavements, Adelle
7. Hot Dog, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
8. Saludos Saludos Amigos, Spanish Class
9. Single Ladies, Beyonce (after watching this horrific video, thanks Bub.)
10. Here it goes again, Ok go

Ten Characteristics You Wouldn't Know Unless You Knew the RL Me

1. I'm usually a very organized person that likes to have a plan and a schedule to follow. I think it's helped me to better manage two toddlers:)
2. If I am really bothered or impressed by a company, I send them an e-mail. It doesn't happen very often, but I feel that it is important nonetheless. Like when Dreyers decided to shrink their ice cream tubs and charge the same price, they got an e-mail from me or when I went shopping at Frys and the girls enjoyed riding in the grocery carts with the car attached to the front, they got an e-mail from me.
3. I'm a perfectionist...in a lot of things, and I'm very thorough. So if I clean, I deep clean and if I pluck your eyebrows, I get every single intsy winsy one. Just ask Kevin. This post probably took several hours of proofreading and spell checking...seriously.
4. I'm very self conscience and tend to worry about what someone might be thinking about me, or what I said, or did, or didn't do. You think this post is stupid, don't you? You don't have to answer that.
5. I love being pregnant and wish I could have the gestation of an elephant, although I might regret saying that later.
6. I love researching baby names and I harass Kevin constantly. I struggle with deciding whether it's ok to use more BR names or not....Your opinion?
7. One of my pet peeves is people who don't clean out their ears. No one likes to see a potato farm growing in your ears. Q-tips people, q-tips!
8. I'm super thrifty and love finding good deals. I hardly every pay full price for anything and that's the way I like it.
9. Most of my dreams involve something bad happening to me. There are usually gremlin eggs growing in my lawn or sharks in my pool or a dinosaur under my trampoline....weird.
10. My nickname growing up was Missy. I'm fine with being called Melissa, but I can usually tell who knows me more personally, or has known me for a long time by which name they call me. Not really a characteristic, more of a random fact.

Ten Best Moments of My Life

1. 1st day of 7th grade, when I found out that a cute boy actually liked me. I was the ugly duckling in elementary school so this was big.

I totally remember you showing me that ultrasound picture and I just saw the arm and thought it was a really well endowed boy. I, of course, had no idea what I was looking at until you pointed out head #1 and head #2 of your twin girls! My mind officially blew at that moment.

Also, Labyrinth huh? Interesting.

Also, I call you Missy because I want to be your friend.

Missy, do I get to call you Missy now that I have been blog stalking you and know all these intimate details of your life? I hope so, you are so funny, and talented. I love all your creative posts and your girls are the cutest. Oh and I totally think you could do another BR name. Parents always start going through the list and I think it is easier if they start the same.

Please ladies....Unfortunately I am modestly indisposed in these "alleged pictures" and I am afraid they would end up on the cover of Fit Magazine for all to see. I could never let that happen...

I'm not really this behind reading your blog, but better late than never, right?

I think that anytime your kids are less than two years apart, you'll get twin comments (just ask my mom). I wonder when they are most annoying - when your kids are actually twins or when they are not.

Don't hate me because I call you Melissa, it means nothing other than the fact that I've run into one too many Missys in my life that were strange or that I didn't care for. You are definitely not one of them, though!

I've never done pregnant pictures, but might this time. I've decided they are way more cuter when they have the siblings in there and not just the pregnant belly.
