My mom turned the big five-0 this month, so we decided to throw her a surprise party with all her friends and family. We all tried really hard to keep it a secret from my mom for the last 3 weeks. Luckily she didn't have a clue when the time finally came for the party and everything went very well . We had a 50's theme for the party. All the girls wore poodle skirts (even Brenna and Brooke!)that were hand made by my sister Tina and her friend Lisa (way to go ladies, very impressive). We played a trivia game that was all about my mom and her life, we had a hula hoop contest, and lots of good food. It was really fun!
