September 5th was Brenna and Brooke's 2nd Birthday.
We had anitcipated an underwater themed party at Tempe Beach Splash Park, but the weather had other plans for us. After realizing that the clouds weren't going to release the sun anytime soon, we quickly came up with a plan"b."
Plan "b" involved partying at Peter Piper Pizza, at tables that were reserved for"Brook/Blena."
It involved the "Feed the Flounder" bean bag toss, and a fish pond full of sea creatures including:
The "Stanley" fish,
"Gassy Gus,"
and an evil jellyfish.
It involved my very charitable in-laws buying pizza for everyone, for which I am eternally grateful.
It also involved fish bowl birthday cupcakes
that were quickly consumed and thoroughly enjoyed.
There were presents that were opened, 
a few games,
and lastly, their winnings.
Plan "b" turned out exceptionally well, but most importantly the girls had a wonderful birthday.

And isn't that how it is.. it never really rains in AZ but when you have something planned outside then it does.

Blena! Who on earth thought you said your child's name was Blena!!!!? That's hilarious! Cutest cupcakes and games! I'm so sad we couldn't make it, but it looks like it was such a good time! They are so precious!
